D.O.G. SOLDIERS

The Dog Soldiers or Dog Men (Cheyenne Hotamitaneo) was one of six military societies of the Cheyenne Indians. Beginning in the late 1830s, this society evolved into a separate, militaristic band which played a dominant role in Cheyenne resistance to American expansion in Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming, often in opposition to the policies of peace chiefs such as Black Kettle. Today the Dog Soldiers society is making a comeback in such areas as the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana and the Cheyenne-Arapaho Indian Reservation in Oklahoma. Alpha II Omega Sports Performance has taken this prestigious society and apply it to the Lord's Army with DOG (Depending On God) SOLDIERS

This Boot Camp is geared towards congregations that are serious about their members getting and staying in shape. This program is an 8 week extreme fitness class for getting in shape, weight loss, and working out with a buddy. This one hour military style work out challenges body, mind, and spirit.

We've all come to a point in our lives where enough is enough! We are unhappy about the way we look and the way we feel about our bodies. Our energy level seems to always be depleted while we consciously make unhealthy food choices knowing it will be followed by guilt. We start out our days with good intentions of packing our work-out bag so that we can hit the gym after work, but inevitably by the time you leave work you're completely exhausted so you just head straight home for the couch and a cold soda. Does this sound familiar to anyone? We've all been through this vicious cycle!! It's called lack of motivation, lack of inspiration, lack of accountability, lack of self discipline and lack of commitment. Why is it so hard to get yourself to the gym? Well one of the main reasons is because there is no accountability factor. No one at the gym is going to call you and say, "Hey where are you? We know you were "thinking" about coming to they gym today." That is something that most likely would not happen in the real world.

Motivation: The Key to Your Success
Motivation is a major key to your success. Our course is continuously being developed to keep motivation levels high. No two workouts will ever be the same! Not only is this a mark of a well-designed program, but it also prevents the boredom that many people experience after committing to a long-term fitness regimen. Each person at Boot Camp Fitness starts and finishes together. This bonds individuals into a group, making it easier to stay dedicated to the program.

Stretching, Balanced Workout, and Measuring Results
Each class begins with a good stretch, followed by a workout that combines strength, ability, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility exercises. Each class ends with a thought-provoking devotional. Fitness assessments are performed at the beginning and end of the four-week program to gauge each person’s strength and speed improvement.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? ... So use every part of your body to give glory back to God..." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

"You were bought at a price [Jesus death on the cross]. Therefore honor God with your body." 1 Corinthians 6:20

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ." 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
