When I first started working with Coach Spain during the spring semester of my sophomore tennis season, I was a walk-on at a Division I-AA program. With the RAQ program, I was awarded two “Players of the Week” accolades because I improved with my footwork which resulted in me pulling off comeback victories. During the conference semifinals, if it wasn’t for the speed and conditioning I learned, I won’t have been able to pull off the comeback win. The match lasted for approximately three hour and I was not only physically drained but mentally drain as well. During the summer, Coach Spain and I worked on my physical game even more and I improved. The result was me being
awarded a full athletic scholarship. Since then, Coach Spain works with me during my breaks when I am in town as well as is available during my season for consultation. My achievements are proof that the RAQ program does work. I like working with Lamail because he encourages me as well as pushes me when I think that I don’t have any more in me. I have found that his RAQ Training program is worth the investment and I as well as my coaches have seen great benefits since working with him. -Division I tennis player at North Carolina Central University

I was able to work with Coach Spain for about two weeks during my Christmas break. What I found that I liked the best was the speed ladder and the sports specificity that he implements to the program. I really enjoyed how he was able to explain to me the concepts. I can’t wait to use the techniques used in my sport when I get back to school.

Teammates have asked what have I been doing that has increased my vertical as well as my speed in the off season. I have told them about the RAQ training program that I have used and I feel stronger than I ever have with working with Lamail.- H. Meakin
