Overview
What is it?
Alpha II Omega Sports Performance RAQ- Boot Camp is a six week program
of fitness instruction, nutritional guidance and team motivation.
Alpha II Omega Sports Performance RAQ Boot Camp is a 6 week military
based work out... but don't let the word "military" scare
you off. It's something that anyone can do, whether you're in shape,
kind of in shape or way out of shape. It doesn't matter if you're
15 or 65. Everyone is able to work at their own pace and no one
is judged on their inability to perform certain exercises. We're
all equals just having fun and striving on bettering ourselves.
Although you will be encouraged to push yourself so you can see
how tough you really are!
The Boot Camp classes are set outdoors, usually in a park setting.
A typical day of boot camp would involve starting with stretches
followed by running, stair climbing, sprints, lunges, military push-ups,
body sculpting with weights, abdominal work, isometrics and always
ending with more stretches. It's not a hugely competitive atmosphere
but sometimes competition is encouraged just for fun! There will
also be a Physical Training Test conducted on each individual's
ability to perform certain exercises to give a starting point of
your fitness level. This test will include how many push-ups and
sit-ups can be performed in 2 minutes, as well as a timed 1-mile
run.
Each session will be one hour in length, motivating
and inspiring. Camp is held in the Charlotte/ Mecklenburg area.
How are we different?
While your physical training will be performed in a team environment,
you will receive personalized fitness assessments, fitness guidance
and nutritional education to help you reach your individual goals.
Additionally, all classes are led by certified fitness professionals.
Each coach is committed to your success. Our program offers the
opportunity to meet new friends whose health and fitness goals are
similar to yours. We provide you with a supportive fitness community
and offer educational opportunities that you can't find through
any other program.
What if I am not physically
fit?
NO ONE will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are
capable of doing safely. Individuals of all ages and abilities are
welcome to participate. We are here to support you and to ensure
that everyone feels they are a part of the team. Each session will
increase slightly in intensity.
What types of exercises
are included in the program?
Exercises include: calisthenics, short distance running/walking,
body weight resistance training, weight training, jump roping, crunches,
obstacle courses, PAR courses, hill running/walking, hiking, agility
and power drills, sports drills, medicine ball work, stair climbing,
partner drills, surprises and much more. Where else can you have
this much fun.
How often will we meet?
Participants will meet every Saturday for one hour during the six
week program. We also offer three and four day per week programs
if you can not meet on Saturdays. All participants will be expected
to arrive on time!
Why should I participate?
Along with achieving dramatic physical improvements, you will also
meet great people who share your same passion for attaining a healthy
body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the
rest of the Queen City has even started its day.
What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each four-week camp has a registration of $125. That’s hours
of instruction for $20.83 per hour. That’s less than the a
full tank of gas would cost you in a week! Where else can you get
premiere, cutting edge fitness and nutritional instruction for this
incredible price!
Do I have to go five days
per week? (Coming soon!!!!)
If you sign up for the 5-day a week program $375 , then yes you
do. However, we also offer a 4-day per week program for $275 and
a 3-day per week program for $210. If you sign up for the 4-day
program, you may attend any 4 days Monday through Friday. If you
choose the 3-day program, we recommend you attend Mon-Wed-Fri so
that your body has a day of rest between each workout. We are flexible
however and will allow you to attend any three days you would like
Monday through Friday to accommodate your schedule. Let your coach
know which days you plan to attend (they can change on a week by
week basis). If you begin either the 3-day or 4-day per week programs
and later decide you would like to switch to the 5-day per week
program, we will simply prorate the remaining days.
What do I need to bring
